Marin & Colusa is all about easy quilt patterns that might look difficult to assemble, but are actually very straightforward. It's about patterns that hold your interest and take as little time as possible to finish. That's the kind of pattern that I design.
I love the look of curved piecing, but hate the sewing. Easy machine applique patterns, such as Spanish Tiles, Scattered Leaves and Turkish Delight combine fusible interfacing and simple piecing to create unique designs.
I have been sewing for over 40 years. I have written patterns for Quiltsmart including Primrose, Pinwheel Spin and Tesselation. I have designed patterns for Quilt in a Day, including Pine Wreath, which can be found in Quilt in a Day's Christmas at Bear Paw's Ranch and Lattice Work.
